| Password Problems.
If you are having problems with your password, there are two possible causes: The first is
that your password is no longer valid. We have done some major changes to our Web Page. In
the process of doing those changes we have also changed our verification system, meaning
passwords and user names that were valid, are now invalid. If you think this is the case,
please Email the Webmaster. Include in your
email your old user name, password, name and address. If you have already received your
new password and username (in the last two months) and the system still denies you access,
check for Caps in your password (The system IS caps sensitive) and for common
mistakes such as replacing I & L & 1 or O & o & 0. If you still cannot
gain access please send an Email to the Webmaster
with your name, user name and the date the password was issued.
PDF catalog unreadable.
If you are unable to read the PDF catalog, it is probably because your version of Acrobats
PDF (Portable Document Format) is too old. The system is designed to work with version 4.0
and above. You may access the adobe download page from here and download the reader.
Chat does not work.
The specific Chat program we use is a very complex jave script. It will only work with the
new versions of Netscape
Navigator and Internet Explorer. It
is necessary to download and install those programs if you wish to use this area. If you
are still having problems with our Chat room, please contact the Webmaster.
BBS does not work.
The bulletin board system (BBS) is designed to work interactively with the users browser.
To do so the system sends Cookies to the users browser and receives information,
such as last visit and user IP address. The system needs that information to work
properly. If your browser is set to deny all cookies, the system will not operate
properly, further more it is recommended that you use the most up to date software, such
as Netscape 4.7 and IE 5. |
